in my genre, there is not much guaranteed, the amount of money and time and love you put into it will never be repaid, you sleep on floors, couches, shitty hotels,cars, planes, bus stations, train stations and airports to meet a few like minded people, you might get fed, booze, weed and drugs and on that rare occasion you might get fucked and a omelet in the morning for you troubles, you might end up working a few part time jobs, live off ramen noodles, rice, tuna and beer and kool aide to put a mic in your face, a record on your turntable, a o.s update, ink, strings on the fretboard, skins on the drum or a ried on the horn..you lose friends and love ones on the way, women will give up on you to find stable relationships because your main focus is everything i just named. or your struggle will be the most attractive thing about you? people you meet on that road who gave up the life to focus on there daily life or pains, you may also gain that back? there will always be a lyric in your head, a design, a melody or a brush stroke lingering, those things will get you out of bullshit situations,a job you know your better then,robots at that job that fuel your fire more then you know.they are also slaves to something you may look at anyone some one not in your situation as crazy, god knows anyone whos never been in your shoes will be quick to label you that, some times telling them to suck your respected reproductive organ works, some times living and doing what keeps you going is the best revenge? you learn to adapt or to bypass trends, there will never be a dance named after one of my songs, i will never get on top 40 radio and i never wanted that, i will always be a creative person, no matter who the fuck tells me not to be, i was never cut out for the rat race. this goes out to anyone that reads this this that can take out the "we,the us and the you and the me, and and replace them with "we,the us and the you and the me?" my name is omega jackson, MC, rapper, producer, musician..... creative ass nigga, "starving but happy"
